A Couple of Cards

It's been a very busy week, and there's no sign of things slowing down. Last weekend we celebrated the Triduum. We celebrated Baptism, First Holy Eucharist (8 of them were kids in my class) and Confirmation at the Easter Vigil. Last night 35 of our youth were Confirmed. We start our fundraising for next year's RECongress this weekend. Next week Saturday, the rest of my kids (7 of them) plus another 15 or so will receive their First Holy Eucharist. Whew! This is why I need my "outlet!"

Okay...so I re-started by making two special cards for two very special people who are celebrating their birthday's this week. I dusted off the stamp sets, stamp pads, and markers and created these.

This first one's for my co-worker/sister-friend. She LOVES pink. This is one of my favorite TGF stamps. I totally forgot that I had primas stashed away so I thought they would be perfect. I also added some bling that I bought last year from BF's. Can you see them?

This second card is also for a co-worker of mine. I also consider her as one of my many "Mommy's" who I turn to for advice and support. Her favorite color is purple...but for some reason, I couldn't find anything purple anywhere! And that's my favorite color too! I guess I gotta go shopping...LOL! This image is another one of my faves from TGF. I started to panic a little when I couldn't find my dew drops...but thank goodness I found the jar. Added some sparkly to her headband and you can't tell from the pic, but there's some sparkly on the DP too.
